There is a cat in our family. Her name is Mania. She's 7. I remember her from my very early childhood. She was brought into our family as a small kitten when I was only a few months old. She is an affectionate cat. Manya loves to be where the whole family is.

There is an opinion that this animal was domesticated about 6 thousand years ago, when people, in addition to hunting and gathering, began to master cattle breeding and agriculture. For people, there was a need to save the harvest until next year. For this purpose, a person had rooms designed to store grain and other products that had to be protected from rodents, which caused great damage to the economy. Best of all, a wild cat coped with this duty. However, scientists are still arguing who, in fact, who tamed - a man a cat or a cat of a man. It is possible that the cat "domesticated" itself, hunting rodents and following people who quickly adopted these animals into their lives.

Cats can communicate in the language of smells. A small, blind kitten will always find its mother thanks to its nose.

They mark their own territory and keep outsiders out. Cats are independent, but very attached to the person and the place of residence in which they live.

They help people get rid of rodents, thereby saving granaries, warehouses, barns and their own place of residence. These are the only animals that nailed to people of their own free will.

Manka has a favorite rubber band game. She brings it in her teeth and puts it on the floor, and I or dad throws an elastic band and Manka runs after her, takes her and carries her again. Manya is a very cheerful, playful cat. I love her so much.

I broke my leg this summer, and I was very bored spending the holidays at home alone. Then my mother brought me a small, funny puppy. His breed is the Chinese Crested Puff.

Our family thought for a long time what to name the new tenant, and my sister offered to give him beautiful name- Archibald, well, in short - Archie. Everyone liked this name.

At first, little Archie was afraid to enter the rooms of the new house and play with us, but after a few days he got used to it and, playing, bit his heels. Soon I began to notice some features of my friend. Archie is very, very fond of cheese and tea.

We are very happy to have such a pet!

My grandmother has a cat Maksik. When I once asked:

My baby

I wanted a pet that did not require complex care and money. My brother used to have a rat, and I loved to play with her, I remembered that she was very affectionate and smart. For a very long time I tried to persuade my parents to get a rat. And here in my room in the corner is a small gray lump! I named the rat "Tehhi".

My baby was a very sweet and kind creature, and even in the summer I taught her all sorts of tricks, trained her. I loved waking up with Tehkhi: in the morning she crawled under the covers to me and, scratching with her claws, made me get up. This is a very pleasant awakening!

Tehkhi was very sociable, only at the end of her life, when she felt bad, she stopped being playful. The rat always responded to its name and came, so I was not afraid that it would get lost in the apartment.

My baby was getting worse and we took her to the doctor. It turned out that the rat had a brain tumor. So that she would not suffer, we decided to euthanize her. Tehkhi did not live even two years... I cried for a very long time, I was sad. Animals only bring pain when they pass away. But I know! Tehhee is not dead... She lives in my heart and is always by my side.

My kitten

I love pets very much. And finally, my parents gave me a cat for my birthday. She is small, fluffy, black with a white dot on her forehead. The dot is shaped like an asterisk, so everyone began to call the kitten Asterisk.K

Once a small cat was born - Vita (her full name is Violetta). We didn’t choose her among sisters and brothers, but she chose us: she herself began to flirt with me and climb into my arms, so we took her for ourselves. At home, Vita walked around all the rooms and sniffed all things. When she was little, she loved to play with a ball and a candy wrapper on a string. As a child, this little miracle was fluffy and clumsy. Now she has become a big, proud, agile cat. Now Vita is 5 years old. Most of the time she sleeps, you want to play with her, but she sleeps and sleeps. But sometimes she still has fun: Vita jumps off the closet and throws herself on my leg, and then runs away, as if flirting with me. In the evening, the cat lies down on the pillow next to my head. Everyone in the family loves her!

I have a pet - it's a dog. His name is Anaker Ter Alin, but we call him Terry. I used to really want a pet, namely a dog, because dogs are affectionate and loyal. Well, my brother and I persuaded my mother to buy a dog. Mom agreed.

At first, the puppy was scared without his mother, he missed her. But we played with him every day. We bought him a bowl, clothes, a bed. Now he is already 2 years old!

My favorite animal

I have my favorite dog. Her name is Zara. We took her from an animal shelter, and she immediately became a full member of our friendly family. Zara is light red with black and white hues. Her nose is black and her eyes are brown. Her favorite activities: play, walk, sleep, put paws on the window sill and look at what is happening on the street. Her favorite treats are Pedegri food and meat. I love Zara very much. This cute dog is my favorite animal.

My dog ​​has just arrived. Her name is Iris. Most of all Iriska likes to play with my plush toys. She gnaws off their eyes and noses. My girl loves to walk, especially in winter. When we have dinner with the whole family, she sits down near the table and with a pitiful look begs for something tasty.

I met a small dog in the village. She was hungry and sad. I decided to take her to me and named Silva.

As a puppy, Silva was an orange-yellow lump, and now she is a black-yellow-white-red beauty! She has drooping ears, a cute muzzle. When I arrive in Nelazskoye, my pet crawls out of the kennel and happily runs to me. Silva enjoys eating Pedegri meat pieces.

As soon as my sister cries, Ksyusha immediately runs to the child and meows to calm her down. My cat always meows when meeting me. So she says hello. Every summer I go to the Crimea to my grandmother. There are many dogs and cats, but I will talk about one of them.

My beloved cat has an original name - Metra. If you read it the other way around, you get "Artem". It was brought to me and put under my feet by the wild cat Squirrel, who shunned all people and came only to eat.

At birth, Metra was weak. We fed her, protected her from fleas, and she grew up, turning into a slender, beautiful, white cat with red spots and blue eyes.

When guests come to us, they always like Metra the most. Of all, she is the most domestic. Grandmother claims that she knows how to heal people. And I made sure of it! When my arm hurt, my pet would come and lie down on it. The pain soon passed.

I love my cat very much and look forward to meeting her again.

My dream

I didn't have an animal, and I asked my mom and dad to buy me a Yorkshire Terrier - this little fluffy dog.

My friend has a pet of this breed named Sofa. Sometimes Danil with his mother and Sonya come to visit us, and then I play with Sonya so that she does not feel sad. When I saw this creature for the first time, she was about two months old. She was a small, fluffy puppy with brown eyes and a black nose. The dog quickly ran around the apartment and jumped to the feet of everyone who passed by her. Once, when Danya and his mother left, Sofa stayed with us. My happiness knew no bounds. After all, my beloved dog was with me for two whole weeks!
I love Sofa and want a Yorkshire Terrier with the same temperament as a home.

My four-legged friend's name is Bill, his breed is a dachshund. Our whole family wanted a dog and finally bought one.

Bill likes to chase birds and cats. When you wash him, he runs around the whole apartment like crazy. My four-legged friend meets me every day after school and is happy. I really like to play with him, especially in catch-up. We are real friends with him. I can't imagine life without Bill!

Tyopa can sleep like this for about two hours. I love my cat very much and I hope that he loves me too.

I've always liked hamsters. I asked my dad to buy me one or two of these pets. And very soon two small nimble hamsters-jungars were running around in a cage in our house.
My hamsters are small, gray, with black shiny eyes. They are very fussy and shy. I named them Chuk and Gek because they are twins, but very different in character. Chuk is very modest and neat. Before approaching the bowl of milk, he will first collect all the spilled droplets. Huck is hard to get hold of. When Huck approaches the milk, he grabs the edges of the bowl and pulls it sharply towards him.

It is very interesting to watch how they climb into the wheel together and try to turn it in different directions.
I love my hamsters, I like to watch them fuss and play. The only sad thing is that they live only three years.

I have a beautiful horse - Zorka. It has been in my life for a long time. Two years ago, I saw a newborn Zorka in the Moscow stable and asked my dad to buy it for me.

Two years ago, I was given a budgerigar for my birthday, I named him Ronya.

The ronya is bright yellow in color but has a green chest and back. It has small button eyes and a light orange beak. Gray stripes run down Roni's head, bright blue feathers near the beak, and black ones on the wings and tail.

In the morning and evening, he cleans and sorts out his feathers: he plucks out the old fluff, cleans it of dirt, puts the feathers one by one. During the day, Ronya loves to sing, climb the walls of the cage and play with the penguin toy, which is suspended from the roof of the cage. He sleeps on the swing. In the morning and in the evening, Ronya and I wake up at the same time.

My parrot eats grains from the feeder and drinks water from the drinker, especially likes cucumbers and Chinese cabbage.

I have a cat at home.

The history of its appearance is very simple. It was born to our friends, and they gave it to us. We named him Vasya. He was red, a little fluffy.

When he grew up, he began to play with us, to eat himself. Every summer we take him to the village, Vasya immediately runs away under the house, and we do not see him. When he returns, he enters through the second floor and crawls through the gap next to the stove. In the morning he runs away again.

I have a cat, her name is Musya. She has been living with us for four months, but she looks like adult cat. Musya

My pets are aquarium fish. I saved up money and bought my pets for my birthday. I named each fish, noting its uniqueness: either a luxurious tail, or a magnificent color, or special habits, fun. I have Mirrored, Gorgeous, Luxurious, White or White, Silver.
Looking Glass is a fish that likes to play with its reflection, it has a black tail that looks like a sharp saber, its body is bright orange, and its eyes and fins are black.

Silver is a special fish, his name speaks of color, this pet also has a magnificent tail and, it seems to me that this fish is somewhat reminiscent of the behavior of a snowflake.

Looking Glass loves to swim at the bottom of the aquarium and play catch-up with catfish, he eats from pebbles, he always plays with his friend Silver.

Silver loves to swim in the wave from the filter and, of course, to show off. When I approach the aquarium, all the fish swim up to the edge of the aquarium and ask for food.

I really like to admire wonderful friends!

There are no animals in our family, so I consider my cat Syomka, who lives with my grandparents, to be my favorite pet.
He appeared unexpectedly for my sister and me almost three years ago. Mom and dad chose it for grandparents from a funny photo on the Internet. The whole family liked him, and his parents followed him to Vologda.
In the car on the way back, our baby first squeaked and meowed, and then calmed down in mother's hands. When they brought him home, he hid and did not want to show himself, but when he saw a bowl of warm cream, he ran into the kitchen. Our Syomka was three and a half weeks old. From then on our friendship began.

I always dreamed of a dog, but my parents didn't let me get one because my sister was allergic to wool.
When my aunt was given a cat, I enjoyed staying with them. The whole family played with her, and the pet liked it. Without thinking twice, we gave her the name Sophia. Sofia has gray hair.

The cat has interesting habits: when we pour milk into a bowl for her, she likes to bathe in it. And when Cyril comes home from school, our kitten frolics and jumps high.
One day we all went to the skating rink and took briefcases with us, in which we put our skates. We did not notice that the cat climbed into one of the briefcases. When I got out my skates, Sophia got out, and I had to take her to the ice with me. There this miracle was just happy. Too bad she got sick after that. We fed her and put her to bed. Everyone was very worried about the cat, but in the morning she woke up, already full of strength and energy.

Although I love dogs very much, but this kitten still changed my idea of ​​pets. I don't need anything more!

My animal is a Persian cat. Her name is Masha. She came to me when I was 6 years old.
Masha is very affectionate, gentle, requires attention and care. She follows me from room to room for a long time, then, when I sit down, she lies down on my lap. She loves to watch the drops from the tap and run after the rope that is played with her.

The cat has a short, slightly snub-nosed nose, a bulging forehead and full cheeks, which gives the muzzle a hilarious and incredibly cute expression. The ears are small and set wide apart. The tips are slightly rounded, with beautiful tufts of wool. Her head is round and massive, her body is medium in size, squat on low paws. The tail is short and fluffy. The coat is long and dense, light gray in color. The eyes are bright and expressive.
I love my cat very much, I never offend her.

Cats were deified en masse. The goddess Bast had a cat's head. Then the Egyptians built temples to the patroness of cats, the goddess Bastet.

In the event of a fire in ancient Egypt, first of all, they rescued cats. At the death of a cat, people living with him celebrated mourning. The cat's body was embalmed and buried with honors in wooden, gold and other coffins - depending on wealth. The domestication of the cat took place approximately 9,500 years ago in the Middle East. The domestication of the cat began with the transition of a person to a sedentary lifestyle and with the beginning of the development of agriculture, when there was a surplus of food, and it became necessary to save them from rodents.

How many cat breeds are there actually? Today there are more than a hundred breeds and their varieties - more than 700 are officially recognized and registered! And all with certain external data and a unique character. In every country in the world there are special clubs that are engaged in the cultivation of officially recognized cat breeds. Each breed has distinctive features and standards. The most important signs that distinguish one breed from another are the length and color of the coat, and also the shape of the head. People who are busy cultivating and studying cats bear the name felinologists.

One spring evening, sitting at home, my dad and sister Katya and I decided to get a cat. Having learned that our friends have a cat that has recently calved, we decided to go and look at them. When I saw him, I immediately fell in love and on the same day we went home with our wonderful pet - the cat Tyson.

My pet is a pure black cat and therefore, I would like to tell you about these cats in more detail.

There is always a lot of hype around black cats, they have always been considered companions of sorcerers and witches. But the most interesting thing is that black Cats were born quite by accident.

The very first cats were brownish-gold, a mixture of black and yellow hairs. The origin of the black cat occurred as a result of a mutation, in connection with which the yellow pigmentation was disturbed. This is how black cats appeared.

The expressiveness of the eyes of black cats is due to the dark monochromatic color, and in general, the brightness and piercing of the eyes of all cats is the same. According to statistics, there are much more black cats in large cities than in villages and villages.

The life of black cats is not easy, it was either valued as an excellent hunter, or subjected to persecution, or used as a healer. An ambiguous attitude towards these cats has survived to this day.

Here is my cat Tyson - very beautiful! He has big yellow eyes, long mustaches and medium ears, similar to triangles. Thanks to the whiskers, the cat catches the slightest fluctuations in the air and can confidently move in the dark without touching anything. Tyson's tongue is rough to the touch. The base of the paws is round, with pads.

I noticed that he has 5 fingers on his paws. Each finger has a sharp claw. I watched his walk. When he walks, he takes a step alternately, then with both right paws, then with both left ones. Such walking guarantees speed, agility. He walks very quietly, almost silently. The length from the nose to the tip of the tail of my cat is 78 cm. Tyson's paws are long - 20 cm. His weight is 3 kilograms 500 grams. In general, he is very handsome!

Veterinarians and felinologists say that black and white cats some of the best pets, the best companions and easily endure stress. It is believed that black cats are very sensitive, therefore they are able to predict trouble or bad weather, they feel well that a person is in pain and even able to cure a person. Black cats have a bright temperament, are very loyal, quick-witted and dexterous. Saturated pigmentation indicates high immunity and good health.

The ability of cats to jump from great heights, remaining safe and sound, is studied by a special science called "pazematology" (from the Greek word pasema - fall). Cats know how to roll over properly in the air, but if they fall from too low a height, they do not have time to coordinate their movements and can be seriously injured.

Attitude towards people

Animals love us, accept us for who we are. In addition, they awaken in people a sense of responsibility and arouse the desire to communicate with people, learn about the world around them, enjoy life, love life and people. The cat uses the most expressive means when greeting a person: a raised tail, an arched back, pushing its head into a stroking hand, rubbing against the owner's legs, purring. The only feeling completely absent in a cat is guilt. The cat never connects its worst deed with the subsequent punishment. Punishment is associated with her either with a person or with an object that hurts her.

The cat does not understand the word "no". She perceives all prohibitions as an encroachment on her right to establish her own order in her territory, and the person punishing her is exclusively an enemy. Shouting and beating you can only make the cat start to be afraid of you or show aggression towards you. Cats do not like families where life takes place in quarrels and conflicts.

We decided to check how our cat Tyson reacts to rudeness. When the cat dropped the vase of flowers, my mother yelled at him and lightly hit him with a broom. Since then, Tyson has been trying to hide if his mother picks up a broom.

When the cat wants to show me his location, he rubs his head against my legs, falls to the floor and begins to stretch and roll over or jump on his hands.

All cats are great hunters. And our Tyson is no exception. How cleverly he catches a piece of paper on a string!

Plays with a ball and his toy mouse with a bell! It hides, creeps up, instantly jumps - and the toy is in its claws. And the claws of cats are retractable: sneaking up, they put them into soft pads, but if they launch them into prey, they won’t break out. When playing, Tyson rarely uses his claws - he fights back with soft, “velvet” paws, but if he gets angry, Tyson releases his claws, clings to his hand, and then quickly runs away.

And all cats have a “sixth sense”. Rumors about the ability of cats to anticipate trouble and natural disasters have been around since time immemorial. We are talking about the unusual behavior of cats before storms, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions. There is evidence that cats are able to anticipate even air raids. During the war, cat owners noted the restless behavior of their four-legged pets even before the sirens began to howl.

And here, too, my Tyson is no exception. Tyson's amazing ability to accurately guess the time of our return. When my family and I arrive home, just entering the entrance, we hear how the cat is already beginning to meow - to greet us.

What if the cat doesn't have an owner?

Suppose if a cat does not have a home and an owner, then what will become of it? She will go hungry, and in winter she will simply freeze! A homeless cat can get sick from all sorts of infections, because there will be no one to look after her. And her hair will not be so beautiful. On the street, a cat can be offended and there will be no one to feel sorry for her. Such cats are very unhappy and without our help they can simply disappear.

It is impossible to have kittens for a short time, and then throw them away! Becoming wild, they cause serious damage, destroying not only rodents, but also useful animals. Left without human help, feral cats often get sick and can spread various infections.

It is necessary to fight in every possible way with such an attitude towards cats.

Cats are healers

Daily games with a cat are wonderful physical education. Communication with pets is a great stress reliever. It is enough to stroke a purring cat and there will be no trace of nervous tension.

Doctors believe that the cat is the undoubted leader not only as a favorite of a person, but also as his very first assistant in case of illness. The owners of cats have had the opportunity to verify this more than once.

Mom's friend suffers from a migraine and in the days of a severe headache, the cat, like a hat, lies on her head and lies like that for hours - as much as the sick one. Murka (this is the name of the mother's friend's cat) is not unique in comparison with other cats, but demonstrates the usual behavior of animals: they are always next to the owner when he is especially ill. Relief comes as a result of the biological interaction of a cat with a person. After all, the ability of cats to take away negative energy is known. Therefore, they align the human biofield during illness.

Our Tyson also shows his medical abilities. My grandmother has leg pain. When she comes to us, the cat is right there and lies on the grandmother's feet. So he lies as long as the grandmother sits. I recently caught a cold and had a fever, Tyson lay with me all day. And after my mother underwent surgery, our cat Tyson constantly began to lie in her place, which was operated on. When our whole family gathers at home in the evenings, Tyson behaves like the main member of our family: he sits next to us, follows us. We all love it. Tyson's presence in the house lifts everyone's spirits and puts smiles on our faces.

For English sailors and fishermen from ancient times, a black cat was a symbol of good luck and a lucky talisman that you must have on board in order to safely return home from a long voyage. It is widely known that on board the ship of Christopher Columbus during his journey to America there was a black cat (which did not prevent the Americans from subsequently declaring black cats a bad omen). But we know that the cat will not die of hunger: it catches mice in the barn. Although Lada is urban, she still has her instincts. Having worked up, our cat turns from white to black. So dirty, she goes to bed in my grandfather's armchair. He doesn't like it and sends Lada away. In revenge, our pet steals food from grandfather's plate. When we pick cherries, Lada climbs a tree and watches us from above.

For all these qualities and just for the fact that she is, we love her. Without a doubt, she changed our lives. For us, Lada is a member of the family. It is impossible to be bored with her, she will learn something.

My pet is a pug dog named Georges, but we affectionately call him Zhorik. Zhorik is one year old. Pug is an ancient Chinese dog breed. They lived with the nobility and in rich houses. The only task of pugs for 3000 years was to accompany a person and please him. Our Zhorik also tries to adhere to this. He's a little odd. Timka climbs onto the closet, and from there watches everything that happens. Timka also loves to sit on the windowsill and look down from the height of our tenth floor. Timka - very clever cat. He has learned to open cabinet doors with his paws, he can open the door of a room if it is closed, and he really wants to get there.
