Introduction

School plays an important role in everyone`s life. School is a place where students spend a lot of time. Here they study to count, to read and to write. Besides, school is a place where you make friends and learn about people as well as subjects. And we think, it's a place which helps you (everyone) to find a good job in the future. Therefore, we decided to find out what ideal school should be.

The subject of investigation is: a perfect school.

The object of our investigation is: building, timetable, school uniform, canteen, classrooms, gym, school rules.

2. The main part.

1 . Outside and inside of the perfect school.

Everyone from us would like to have perfect or ideal school. The school, where you can have a rest and where it is fun. The ideal school is the dream of every student. Our ideal school is near the citycenter. It is a modern three-storey building of a typical design. There would be a lift to take us up.

Behind the school there should be a big garden with beautiful flower-beds, bushes and fruit trees and a small zoo where students of our school can take care of animals.

When you enter the building you can see a large hall with lots of plants and benches inside. On the left there is a large and state-of-the-art canteen with modern furniture.

The cloak room should be on the ground floor. On the ground floor we would like to havean olympic swimming pool with an aqua park where students can swim and have a rest.

There would be a computer room, music room, recording studio, language laboratory, dance studio and football pitch. The teacher's room would be much bigger than the one we have now. It would be light and cozy. There would also be a big library.

The classrooms, the laboratories, the doctor's office, the library, the teachers' room are situated on the upper floors. On the walls of the corridors you can see beautiful landscapes, pictures of famous scientists, writers and other outstanding people of our country. There are light curtains on the windows and many pots with flowers on window sills. The hallswould be very big, about 40 meters long and 30 meters wide and arefull of sunshine. There are many different special classrooms for the classes of Physics, Chemistry, English, Geography and Biology. They have high quality projectors, schemes and tables on the walls.

In every the classroom there is the tactile board, which everyone can use, 30 desks with a comfortable chairs, good lighting the room.

Also we want to have more modern technologies in every classroom. We would like to have a room, where it's possible to search for necessary information on the Internet. The ideal school should be more comfortable. There are small sofas and chairs in the school halls.

2.The ideal timetable.

The lessons would be interesting. An ideal school should begin at 10 o "clock.Instead of books, every student has got a laptop with access to the Internet. The students have not got any homework. They have got optional activities and sports clubs.

We want to pay attention to perfect timetable. We would like or five lessons every day. Students should study the subjects they really enjoy: Physical Education , Literature, Biology, Russian language, History, Physics , Technology, Geography. They shouldn't worry about tests and marks. Certainly pupils should choose the necessary subjects which help them to get education and make a successful career.

Monday Tuesday Wednesday

Thursday Friday Saturday

The breaks should be longer than now. It is necessary that all students of our school and teachers have enough time to have lunch in our dinning room. Besides, we would like to have more sections or additional example: swimming, karate, photo club, dancing club and additional occupations on Algebra and Russian.

3.School uniform.

School uniform is an integral part of school life in many countries. Most schools in Russia also require school uniforms. However, some schools accept freestyle outfit. There are different opinions on how the standard school forms should look like. We support the idea of wearing a school uniform. We think that at home we can put on what we want, but at school we need to follow the rules. But our school uniform is different from ours. The ideal school uniform for girls consists of a red dress and white shoes and for boys consists of a white shirt , black trousers and black shoes.

4.Code of conduct.

We would like to have some rules in our ideal school. The discipline should be strict but there are not punishments. We'd like our teachers and students to treat each other with more respect. Teachers talk to the students as if they are grown-ups, individuals. The rules in school should be democratic: neither strict nor too free. So we would like to have such rules:

1 Always do your best

2 Be prepared - be on time

3 Be polite

4 Don't waste your time

5 Be quiet around the school

6 Think safety first

7 Use entrances and exits properly

8 Use toilets properly

9 Keep valuables at home

10 Smoking is prohibited

11 Eating/Chewing is only possible at breaks and lunch times

12 Be sensible in bad weather

13 Play in the right place

5. Canteen.

The next important thing in our ideal school is our food and our canteen. The canteen would bemuch bigger than the one we have now. We would like to have modern furniture in our canteen. The food in the canteen should be cheaper and tastier than it is nowThe school meals would have different food every day.

We'd like to have such a menu for every day.

Menu

Every weekend we would like to have trips to countryside and then have competitions in stadiumor other places.

3.Conclusion.

In the result of our investigation we tried to create the ideal school. We believe that ideal school is a school where there are classes you don't want to miss, and when during the holidays you miss your classmates and teachers. We

The school I would like to have a swimming pool.

I'd have one for the first and second years and also for the and fourth years. The playgrounds would be separate, one for the young children and the other for the senior forms. A wall would be separating them and there would be a door from one playground to the other.

The classrooms would have carpets instead of lino. The desks would be painted and the chairs would have cushions. The chairs would also be painted.

There would be a computer for every table in the classroom. There would be at least 12 videos for each classroom. The hall would be very big, about 40 meters long and 30 meters wide.

The lessons would be interesting. There would be lots of French and German and English.

There would be four floors at the school. There would be a lift to take us up. The staffroom would be much bigger than the one we have now.

It would be light and cozy. There would also be a big library. There would be a lot of instruments: flutes, guitars, drums, etc.

The school meals would have different food every day. There would be lots of visits to concerts and parks.

The tests would be easier for children.

  10. My ideal school

At the moment I am a student of a comprehensive school #45. I like my school, but I think it could be better, so I would like to tell you about my ideal school.

My ideal school would be located in a quiet place near a big park, so that students could walk there after classes to relax. There would be a big buffet, where students could have a cup of tea or coffee with a sandwich during the breaks. My ideal school would also have lockers for books and personal things like in American schools.

Nowadays we have to study a lot of subjects at school. But I think that the most important subjects are those which will help us to pass the Unified State Exam and to enter the university. In my ideal school the majority of sciences would be given at fact-finding level and students of a high school would be allowed to choose subjects, which they would like to learn on a higher level, according to their aims and preferences. But of course, Russian will be a compulsory subject for everyone at my school, because we must admit that it is necessary for the literate writing. Information technology is another important subject, because computers simplify our lives and each of students will need to use it in the future.

As well as the subjects of the curriculum, there would be many after-school clubs, such as chess, drama, music, arts and sports.

To sum up, I think my school would be a place I would like to go to!

I am currently a student at Comprehensive School 45. I like my school, but I think it could be better, so I would like to tell you about my idea of an ideal school.

The ideal school for me would be in a quiet location near a large park, so that the students could take a walk, resting after school. The school would have a large buffet where students could have a cup of tea or coffee with sandwiches during recess. My ideal school would also have lockers for books and personal belongings like in American schools.

Today we have to study a lot of subjects in school, but I think the most important are those subjects, the study of which will help us to pass the Unified State Exam. In my ideal school, most sciences will be studied at the level of knowledge of basic facts, and high school students will be allowed to choose subjects that they would like to study at a higher level, according to their goals and preferences. But of course the Russian language will be a compulsory subject for everyone in my school, because we must recognize that it is necessary for literate writing. Computer science is another important subject, because the use of a computer makes our life easier and knowledge of a computer will be useful for every student in the future.

As well as subjects from the compulsory plan, this school will have many extra-curricular clubs such as chess, theatre, music, arts and sports.

To sum it up, I think my ideal school would be a place that I would enjoy going to.

IDEAL SCHOOL

SCHOOL SHOULD BE BIG AND beautiful. CLASSROOMS SHOULD BE LIGHT AND FURNITURE SHOULD BE COMFORTABLE. COLORS OF WAIIS SHOULDN'T BE BRIGHT SO THAT PUPILS DON'T DEVERT FROM THE LESSONS.

FOR EACH SUBJECT IT SHOULD BE A SEPARATE ROOM.

At school there must be a big, bright and light gym, and Physical Education must be every day!

like all children all over the world , we want to have a pool at school !!!

Children must be educated. For this aim there must be a library with the big number of books and a reading-room.

At school there should be separate lockers for each student and locker rooms both for boys and girls.

School should have its own children's bus

In the canteen everything must be sterile and comfortable. Food should be tasty, hot and appetizing!!!

Teachers must be experienced, kind and fair. Children should be allowed to wear what they want, because clothes don't influence our studies.

This is the ideal school for us!!!
