How to make a delicious cottage cheese casserole with strawberries at home

This pie cooks very quickly, so it is quite possible to add it to the piggy bank of recipes that are cooked in haste. And it's tasty, fragrant and healthy!

Sorting through strawberries for your favorite pie

  • We wash the strawberries thoroughly, remove the green stalks, dry them carefully with paper towels.

For baking, you can use whole berries, and cut into two halves - as you like. Most often, strawberries are still put in a whole casserole.

Kneading a delicious dough for berry casserole

  • While we are kneading the dough for a cheese sweet pie, we will put the oven to warm up, setting the temperature to 180-190 degrees.
  • Crack the eggs carefully and separate the whites from the yolks using two bowls. We immediately grind the yolks in a bowl and rub together with the cottage cheese, kneading the mass as it should.
  • Now, in the third bowl, mix the dry ingredients: vanilla flavored sugar, white crystalline sugar, baking powder for the splendor of homemade casseroles and semolina.
  • Now we pour the dry ingredients, mixed together, into the curd-yolk mass. Mix properly until smooth.
  • Lightly salt the proteins in a separate bowl so that the foam holds together well in the future, after which we thoroughly beat the ingredient with a whisk or mixer for a couple of minutes.
  • Very carefully and in small portions we shift the lush protein foam into a bowl to the curd dough, kneading from the center to the edges slowly and without rubbing to maintain the consistency of the proteins.

We put the finished dough with strawberry filling in the form

  • We coat a suitable form for a cottage cheese-strawberry casserole with odorless vegetable oil so that the cake does not stick to the sides and easily separates from them after baking.
  • We shift about half of our curd mass into the mold, leveling the layer well.
  • From above we send the washed peeled strawberries (whole or cut into halves). We make an even layer of berries on top of a dense cottage cheese dough.
  • We cover the red berries with the rest of the dough and straighten it too, so that it comes out evenly and beautifully.

Cooking a delicious beautiful casserole with strawberries until cooked

  • We mark forty minutes on the oven and wait for our cheese strawberry pie to bake inside and noticeably brown on top.

It is easy to check the readiness of baking: we dip a dry toothpick into it and see if the dough has stuck to the surface of the wood. If it remains almost dry, then the dish is ready.

20-25 minutes before the casserole is ready, you can decorate it on top. To do this, rinse a few berries, dry and cut into two parts. Spread them on top of the pie and bake the dessert further until cooked.

Cottage cheese casserole in the oven with frozen strawberries: a favorite recipe

Ingredients

  • Frozen strawberries - 200 g;
  • Medium fat cottage cheese - 400-450 g;
  • Chicken eggs - 2-3 pcs.;
  • Cow's milk - a third of a glass;
  • White granulated sugar - 60-70 g;
  • Salt - a pinch;
  • Semolina - 3-3.5 tbsp. l.;
  • Odorless vegetable oil - for lubrication.

How to cook strawberry-curd casserole at home: step by step instructions

  • Wash chicken eggs cold water with soap and dry, wiping the shells. Prepare two clean separate bowls.
  • In one we knock out the yellow part of the testicle, in the other - the proteins that we will need to beat into foam.
  • We pour white granulated sugar into the bowl to the yolks, after which we mix everything thoroughly and beat with a whisk or a mixer.
  • We pour a little salt (literally a pinch) into the bowl for the proteins so that the egg foam grabs well and holds better. Continue whisking the egg whites until they are stiff and frothy.
  • Pour cow's milk (preferably chilled) into the cottage cheese, which is in a large separate bowl. Pour the remaining sugar, semolina. We mix.
  • Now add the yolks, which we ground with sugar, and then thoroughly rub the mass into a casserole using a food blender or food processor.

The next step will be the introduction of protein foam into the dough. We shift it with a dry cold spoon into the cottage cheese in parts, carefully and slowly stirring so that the proteins do not fall off and do not liquefy.

  • Lubricate the form for homemade pies with vegetable oil and lightly sprinkle with semolina. Preheat the oven to 180-190 degrees.
  • We send one part of the curd mass to the mold, leveling the layer with a spoon or spatula so that it is as even as possible.
  • We wash the frozen strawberries in cold water and dry the berries, after which we cut them into two parts or use whole ones if they are not too large.
  • We spread the ingredient on a layer of dough in a form, trying to lay out ripe berries evenly.
  • Level the second part of the curd dough on top, covering the strawberries with it - the casserole is almost ready.

  • Now you just need to put it in the oven and bring it to readiness. This will take about half an hour to 45 minutes, depending on the thickness of the dough and the depth of the form.

  • We send the yolks grated with sugar next, take out the blender and carefully break the resulting dough into a casserole with strawberries and raspberries.
  • Transfer the whipped egg whites into a bowl to the dough in parts and very carefully so that they do not fall off. And also mix gently and slowly.

Strawberry Casseroles - General Cooking Principles

For the preparation of cottage cheese casseroles with strawberries, it is recommended to take fresh or short-lived cottage cheese in the refrigerator. The percentage of fat in the product does not really matter, it only affects the calorie content of the dish. Regardless of whether the cottage cheese is granular or not, it must be ground on a sieve. This makes the casseroles airy and tender.

For rice casseroles with strawberries, round-grain rice is most suitable. It must be sorted out and washed before clean water. Then the dried rice groats are boiled in milk, water or berry (strawberry) syrup.

Granulated sugar, eggs and butter are necessarily added to the curd or rice mixture. You may also need to introduce semolina or flour.

Often, rice mass is mixed with curd, thereby obtaining mixed “curd-rice” casseroles. Flavor the dish by adding ground cinnamon or vanilla powder or vanilla sugar.

In the cake, strawberries are layered with the main (curd, rice or mixed) mass, mixed into it or spread on the surface. The berries are cut into pieces or slices of the recommended size or ground together with granulated sugar and the sauce is boiled. Strawberries can be either fresh or canned in their own juice. Fresh can be replaced with well-thawed frozen.

The dish is baked in the oven or slow cooker. The temperature regime and cooking time are always indicated in the recipe.
